[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide traditional, social and online media monitoring for monitoring of the NSLC and industry related web, print, social media, radio and television broadcast.
- For print media this includes monitoring of both physical and web content for dailies and regional publications
- ability to monitor real time activity on all active social media platforms;
- ability to view historic data of the NSLC’s online presence, activities to benchmark evaluations and analyses of previous social media activity
- ability to filter data based on post author demographics, as well as geographically to a provincial level for Nova Scotia; and
- capability to export data and reports to Word, MS Excel or PDF.
- Comprehensive monitoring of Nova Scotia dailies and community paper in print;
- Comprehensive monitoring of all Nova Scotia broadcast media including TV, radio and web content;
- Daily synopsis of NSLC, beverage alcohol and cannabis industry news with easily downloadable content (print, radio and TV clips) with any additional fees to be transparent and consistent;
- Ability to identify duplicate stories in multiple outlets
- Allow for customizable, media-wide keyword and outlet-specific searches (by media type, geographic location, subject, timeframe, reporter, and outlet)
- Ability to order transcripts of broadcast reports.
- Ability to monitor social media for reputational and brand related conversations and opportunities for engagement – including social networking sites, blogs, wikis, micro-blogging sites, video and photo-sharing sites
- News alerts option delivered directly to appropriate NSLC coordinates;
- Brand equity and sentiment analysis (with the option to modify manually), demographic information and the ability to identify and measure influence of key social media engagers;
- Ability to chart volume for specific keywords, trends and topics overtime (for example, to measure the impact of a campaign or guidance for content creation topics and themes);
- Capacity to create reports and graphs in other formats that illustrate content, quality and tone of discussions, influence, age, region, and screen name;
- Capacity to add contextual insights to reports and integrate with website analytics via Google Analytics, Google Data Studio and/or other third-party reporting platforms;
(2) Contract period will be for three years.
