[B] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide information technology management to the government authority located in Kittery, ME.
- Managed services:
- Perform all necessary administration, management and ongoing support for the town’s physical and virtual servers,
- Manage and administer patches, virus and spyware protection,
- Provide routine service administration and support including adding users, changing passwords, installing software and updates, trouble-shooting service and network related problems,
- Monitoring services:
- Monitor and log events for all managed network devices including servers, routers, addressable switches, and networked devices,
- Maintain and utilize trend logs to enhance troubleshooting and management services,
- Monitor disk space on servers and clients,
- Managed firewall and VPN service:
- Manage firewall for each point of entry to the network and provide secure network connection between the various physical locations of the town’s technology systems,
- Firewall should include real-time anti-virus, anti-spyware, and intrusion prevention, include content filtering,
- Backup and disaster recover:
- Provide both offsite back-up storage, design, implement and manage a back-up system that
complies with state retention laws and town operational needs,
- Remote access: general business function access to the network and financial systems, access from police cruiser terminals,
- Email and spam filtering: Propose, implement, and support an effective email and spam filtering approach that that supports the various users in the organization in a cost-effective manner,
- Support and helpdesk services: Install front and back office software patches and maintenance releases, Identify and correct problems in operating systems in use, and implement solutions where needed, provide a user-friendly ticketing system that allows for easy problem reporting and tracking, and allows for notification of system wide issues and updates.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
