[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide protected medical leaves administration short term and long-term disability insurance employee assistance program to Fully-insured, non-participating (Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD) and Protected Leave Administration) 2.Employee Assistance Program The proposal must include a quote for the STD, LTD and Protected Leave Administration coverage, with EAP coverage as an additional benefit
1. Employee Assistance Program Services
a) Intake line: 24 hour, 7 days a week access to a toll-free number
b) Maintain an updated network of participating providers
c) Conduct orientation and training seminars for County’s managers, supervisors, and employees
d) Respond to management/job performance referrals
e) Provide management consultation services with any County supervisor and County HR personnel
who is considering the referral of an employee to the EAP. Remain in contact with the referring supervisor for status to the extent allowed by law.
f) Respond to Critical Incident Stress Debriefings (CISD)
g) Provide maximum of three (3) or five (5) counselling sessions per incident per calendar year
h) Design, recommend, produce, and provide relevant and engaging promotion materials
I) Provide printed and electronic materials including, employee brochures, with wallet cards, workplace posters that include the toll-free number for accessing Services, a supervisor manual,
and videos.
j) Measure and evaluate programs and services efficacy and impact
k) Provide quarterly and annual utilization reports and meet to review and propose strategies for increased engagement
2. Work-Life Services
a) Provide multimodal resources that help members cope with a wide variety of daily life issues
including childcare, eldercare, financial and legal services, and identity theft recovery services and
3. Online Member Services
a) Provide employees and eligible dependents online access and mobile app for Employee Assistance
Program benefits, practitioner and provider searches, authorizations and behavioral health services
that include a number of self-help programs including online self-assessments, as well as
professional assistance.
4. Variety of engaging Training Programs such as:
a) Orientation seminars for employees
b) Training seminars for managers and supervisors
c) Management Consults/Job Performance Referrals and related follow-ups
d) Health Fairs
e) Employee training seminars (brown bag), including all travel expenses
f) Critical Incident Stress Debriefings (limited to 20 hours per incident)
(2) All question must be submitted no later than August 20, 2019.
