[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide online curriculum solution for students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade.
- The curriculum and program is aligned to state core standards.
- The curriculum and program includes core instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Supplemental instruction in music, art and language (French and Spanish) is desired.
- The pacing of the curriculum and program should reflect a minimum of four hours of core content per day.
- The curriculum and program provides an opportunity for district teachers to use and adjust content to instruct students synchronously and asynchronously using a web browser or dedicated computer application. - The curriculum and program provides digital content as well as synchronous and asynchronous facilitation through the providers own course management system.
- The curriculum and program reflects multicultural education and is accurate, current and free of bias.
- The curriculum and program can be adapted on a continual basis to accommodate students’ needs.
- Readability levels, written language assignments, and numeracy requirements are appropriate for the course content and grade level(s).
- The curriculum and program content is delivered to students through a provider hosted model that is accessible on Mac devices including iPad, MacBook, etc.
- The curriculum and program provides opportunities for appropriate instructor-student interaction to foster mastery and application of the material and a plan for monitoring that interaction.
- Each lesson and unit includes an overview, objectives, content, activities, enrichment, remediation, assignments and assessments to provide multiple learning opportunities for students to master the content.
- The curriculum and program includes activities that engage students in active learning and address a variety of learning styles and preferences.
- The curriculum and program provides opportunities for students to engage in higher order thinking, critical reasoning activities and thinking in increasingly complex ways.
- The content and assessments must be designed for use for virtual asynchronous learning.
- The curriculum and program can incorporate real-time adaptive interventions based on student performance.
- Content and assessments must address the needs of EL learners.
- The curriculum and program structure includes adequate and appropriate methods and procedures to assess students’ mastery of content.
