[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide property evaluation services include Analyzing the existing owned real estate portfolio of the department of behavioral health and development services providing a facilities condition overview; Recommending short-term and long-term plans for more efficient operation for the core mission of DBHDS; Reviewing, identifying and prioritizing short and long-term needs of DBHDS capital outlay maintenance reserve, current and deferred projects based on facility assessments and continuing maintenance and operation; Recommending improvements to DBHDS space utilization efficiency and effectiveness through other improvements to agency occupancy throughout the DBHDS portfolio; Reviewing and recommending costs and operational efficiencies for individual DBHDS’s properties and across the DBHDS portfolio, Reviewing DBHDS real estate activities, comparing initial findings with private and public sector performance benchmarks in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFP to the government authority located in Richmond, VA.
(2) Contract period will be for one year.
