[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide strategic communications coordinator and specialist personal services to the government authority located in Washington, DC.
- Strategic Communications Coordinator/Specialist may be supervised by any OTI team or division leader or his/her designee, the initial supervisor for the position under this solicitation will be OTI’s Communications and Outreach Team Leader or his/her designee. OTI’s Communications Team works within OTI’s Program, Learning, and Innovation (PLI) division.
- Strategic Communications Coordinator level: Assist with the development, editing, distribution, and publishing of OTI communications products, including annual reports, country program reporting, fact sheets, briefing books, brochures, success stories, videos, and web-based materials; Track, manage, and coordinate clearances across the office in response to information requests (Taskers); Assist with the management of digital content across OTI's social media accounts and assist with campaigns involving other USAID offices, and update internal and external websites; Assist with cultivating and managing professional relationships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), implementers, international donors, USAID, U.S. government agencies and other organizations of importance to OTI programs in Washington and the field, serving as a liaison to coordinate communications activities; Support Communication Team with responses to media inquiries in a timely fashion; Assist in the preparation of presentations and briefings used to engage internal and external audiences; Assist in the development and implementation of OTI’s office-level and country-specific strategic communications plans and monitoring/supporting implementation of plans; Assist with training OTI staff and implementing partners, both in Washington and the field, on communications-related skills, and support the maintenance of training materials as required.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
