[B] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide a qualified consulting firm to perform closed-circuit television inspection services to the government authority located in Redwood City, CA.
- Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to clean pipeline, inspect manholes and pipelines and provide a closed-circuit television inspection in digital format of the sewer pipelines listed in the table.
- The contractor shall be solely responsible for traffic control. as a minimum, placement of adequate pre-warning and detour signs to control vehicular and pedestrian traffic shall be required.
- If entry to confined spaces is necessary, the CONTRACTOR shall follow all appropriate local, state, and federal laws pertaining to confined space entries. Sanitary sewer manholes are considered confined spaces.
- The CONTRACTOR shall protect the manholes to withstand forces generated by equipment, water, and air pressure.
- The CONTRACTOR shall perform a minimum of two passes using the high-velocity hydraulic cleaning method. The contractor shall clean the line until the line is ready for closed-circuit television inspection that is acceptable to City.
- Procedure for removing roots may include the use of mechanical equipment such as rodding machines and bucket machines using root cutters and porcupines.
