[B] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide clinical family planning services to the government authority located in Alaska.
- Family planning and reproductive health services are integral to primary health care, and CHC's and Title X have a shared mission to provide high quality health care to low income, under served, and vulnerable populations.
- This solicitation is open to federally funded Community Health Centers (CHC) in Alaska (i.e., Health Program 330 Awardee Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and FQHC look-alikes, and dually funded FQHC tribal entities).
- Services must include but are not limited to: comprehensive reproductive health exams, breast and cervical cancer screening, pregnancy testing, counseling and screening for sexually transmitted diseases and counseling and provision of contraceptive methods.
- The broad range of services paid for with Title X monies strictly prohibits abortion as a method of family planning. As a recipient of federal Title X funding, the grantee must follow Title X policies and procedures for determining eligibility of clients for discounted services, as well as meeting the Title X Program requirements of a clinical services delivery site.
