[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide regional retail and recruitment strategy service to the government authority located in San Bernardino, CA.
• Agency may assign work on a case-by-case basis, but primarily the scope of services will be in preparation of the global international council of shopping centers (ICSC) conference, local ICSC western conference or any other retail-related events
• Provide an overview of effective strategies for conference participation, summary of the anticipated retail and economic outlook of the County, and assist in identifying strategies to meet new demand and attract desirable tenants
• Analyze current and future retail market trends, consumer spending and patterns, housing, population, demographics and any other-related business intelligence data.
• Prepare regular and quarterly reports on recent retail and development successes and contractions in the county.
• Assist in identifying immediate and long-term retail opportunities including VOID analysis to identify retail gaps in trade areas.
• Attend retail-related events and conferences and provide a block of time at each event and conference to attend meetings with the County.
• Scheduling of relevant meetings at retail conferences and events.
• Provide housing data within the County on planned, permitted and under development projects.
• Update demographic and consumer intelligence retail overview book specific to the County.
• Provide marketing and graphic design services associated with relevant collateral and infographics.
• Co-marketing to regional leads.
• Guidance and support in analytical and intelligence of activity in retail.
• Prepare quarterly retail and related-reports specific to the County. For example: Identify major retail investors, type of assets being purchased, and country of origin on a quarterly basis.
• Analyze and support the county-owned properties to determine best fit for retail and mixed-use.
• Assist in the identification of potential sales and use tax opportunities.
• Provide the County with contact information to retail tenant’s and developer’s in the marketplace.
• Assist the county with prospective retailers who contact the county and are looking to expand within the county.
• Analyze current and future industrial market trends, consumer spending and patterns, housing, population, demographics and any other-related business intelligence data.
• Prepare regular and quarterly reports on recent industrial market development successes and contractions in the County.
• Guidance and support in analytical and intelligence of activity in the industrial market.
• Assist the County with prospective industrial users who contact the county and are looking to expand within the County.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 7, 2022
(3) The contract period will be for three years.
