[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide experienced and qualified wildlife consultants with expertise with mule deer or other ungulates to identify, assess and potentially develop hazing strategies, if and where deemed feasible, to reduce habituation within urbanized area.
- Habituation of deer
- Damage to vegetation in specific locations such as residential property
- Aggressive conflicts with people and pets such as along pathway systems
- Consultant shall determine if a hazing program will be effective on achieving our objectives. If hazing is deemed to be effective, develop the appropriate strategy options suitable in our urbanized environment with associated benefits, probable costing, and challenges that would need to be overcome for each.
- The strategies shall detail the process for implementation including optimal timing (throughout the calendar year) and process for obtaining permitting and authorization from Alberta Environment and Parks (AEP).
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than May 24, 2022
