[B] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide abandoned property registration program to the government authority located in Fort Myers, FL.
- The annual registration amount was set by the County Commission at $150 per property annually and is to be paid by the mortgagee. Registration funds collected shall be split equally between the County and the Vendor. The annual fee is non-negotiable
- The Vendor shall provide administration of records related to abandoned, foreclosed and vacant properties within unincorporated County
- The program requires mandatory annual registration of properties, tracking of these properties, correspondence with mortgagees and property management companies to ensure compliance with County’s ordinances and the administration of registry fees
- The Vendor awarded shall be subject to periodic County audits and requests for information to verify that the properties registered are appropriate according to the ordinance
- The Vendor shall build and maintain a searchable electronic data base of property records meeting the ordinance criteria. The data base shall be compatible with the County’s existing data base and readily available for use by County staff.
