(1) Vendor needs to provide enterprise wide information technology and telecommunications security services to the government authority located in New York.
- Assessment, planning, design and implementation services, with response and restoration services
- Assessing technical infrastructure for vulnerabilities. performing security architecture reviews and accreditations according to city specifications
- Planning services include developing security strategies and policies for wired and wireless infrastructure, software, applications and data.
- Design services include technical infrastructure (wired and wireless), software applications, and identity management.
- Implementation services include validating, procuring, installing, configuring, testing, and documenting security solutions.
- Vulnerability testing of both custom and cots (commercial off-the-shelf) applications, including but not limited to testing for software defects such as design and coding flaws; and testing for configuration errors, such as unneeded services, connections and access controls
- Auditing and assessment: measuring compliance with various federal, state and city statutes, regulations and policies governing data security and confidentiality (such as PCI, FISMA, HIPAA/HITRUST, FERPA, and IRS 1075)
- Ongoing managed security services
- Intrusion detection system (IDS) and intrusion prevention system (IPS) managed service
- Application Vulnerability Scanning Service
- Distributed denial of service (DDOS) monitoring and mitigation
- Penetration testing service
