[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals

[B] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide insurance broker of record services to the government authority located in Texas.
- Provide insurance-related services including, but not limited to, risk analysis, underwriting, marketing, consultation, claims, and policy review and maintenance services.
1. Insurance programs
- The Board maintains insurance programs, Insured and Self-insured, that encompass all aspects of daily operations and address the risks inherent in providing airport services. Part A outlines the types of insurance coverage that will be managed under this Contract. The Contractor shall provide all resources necessary to provide the types of insurance coverage specified in Part A and herein to support the Board’s operations and insurance programs.
2. Risk analysis
- The Contractor shall conduct a review of International Airport operations to identify potential hazards, risks, liabilities and claims potential. The Contractor shall prepare a comprehensive Risk Analysis Report that includes a formal summary of all findings and recommendations. The report must be submitted to Risk Management for review no later than 120 days after the Notice to Proceed.
3. Underwriting submission and recommendations
- The Contractor shall prepare a comprehensive underwriting submission including, but not limited to, underwriting data, statement of values, specifications, and other data required by insurers, to facilitate a competitive marketing process for all insurance programs currently in effect, and for any other insurance programs identified during the contract term.
- The Contractor shall represent the Board in negotiations with insurers, underwriters, regulatory authorities and any other party involved in securing a quote
- Identify the best program structure;
- Explain the method by which the premiums are established;
- Provide copies of the actual premium quotations submitted by the insurance companies;
- Provide an analysis of coverage, pricing, carrier’s financial strength, carrier’s underwriting and claims expertise;
- Provide written declinations from insurance carriers; and
- Present premium payment options
(2) A pre-bid conference will be held on March 31, 2023.
(3) All questions must be submitted no later than February 7, 2023
