Vendor needs to provide city website development services using content management system.
- Build a new municipal website and is seeking proposals from qualified, capable, and skilled companies to provide a complete Headless Content Management System (HCMS) with an enhanced design that will organize, structure, and label content in a way that will help website users find information and complete tasks in an efficient, user-friendly way
- Solution proposed should be based on the latest technologies to be implemented in a constantly growing organization with a need for scalability, security, and the capability necessary to integrate with other systems used within the organization.
- Ability to support the City’s web presence and all sites/functions for all City departments/agencies
- Provide flexibility and adaptability for integration of future services and technology enhancements
- Build the website using a headless content management system (HCMS) that can support the multiple departments and the needs of internal content creators
- Provide a design that is of a modern, intuitive construction that enhances the ability of citizens and other customers to locate and utilize information and features of government agencies and that is compliant with the overall branding strategy of the City
- Host the website in a secure data center with full business continuity capability
- Easy-to-use HCMS with live-edit functionality
- Site tools & features available for staff that are easy to use and provide for advanced administrative website management and ease of use for citizens
- Content creation tools that allow for ultimate flexibility and consistency across the website
- An API-first architecture for ultimate flexibility in creating end-user experiences
- Zero cost for use of APIs (development not included)
- Included API documentation with the ability to provide secure access for developers
- CaaS - Create once and share content between multiple sites and subsites. (Calendars, documents, pictures, FAQs, etc)
- Ability to create custom content types
- Ability for forms submissions to interact with web content where necessary
- Uses machine-learning to help improve both the admin and user experience.
