[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide trade representation services in France.
- To lead and execute developing travel trade relationships, partnerships, education, and campaigns in France
- Build visitation from source market(s) and visitation from target audiences.
- Increase visitor spending and length of stay.
- Leverage internal and external partners and resources.
- Improve the quality of life for Utah citizens with job creation, tax burden relief, and educated visitors.
- Uniquely position Utah with a competitive advantage over comp set destinations.
- Lead and support best practices in client services, technology, information, and marketing.
- Execute marketing and advertising campaigns that produce results within set criteria (maximize ROI).
- Develop and execute tactics specific to industry rehabilitation and recovery.
- Lead and execute developing travel trade relationships, partnerships, education, and campaigns. This work will include, but is not limited to:
- Creation of proposed travel trade plan and marketing timeline for Fiscal Year ‘24 (July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024) and addressed in advance of each fiscal year; the vendor is contracted thereafter
- Identify the top ten (10) travel trade partners via the number of visitors to Utah, quality of state product, ability to develop “Red Emerald” itineraries and product with travel trade partners, collaborative partnerships, uplift, and value add opportunities.
- Preparation and distribution of agency guides, industry resources, and relevant updates via:
a. Email blasts/industry newsletters
b. Response to trade inquiries
- Develop relationships with airlines to expand flight routes, partner cooperative campaign opportunities, tickets for FAMs, and industry outreach.
- Report quarterly & monthly to the market manager on trade outreach efforts, new product development, industry sentiment, and partner opportunities.
(2) The contract period will be for five years.
