[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide transcription services.
- Services include the contractor receiving digital audio transfers of interviews from agency, and the contractor emailing the resulting verbatim transcripts in Microsoft Word form back to agency.
- Typical digital recordings submitted for transcription are usually between 30 minutes and 3 hours in duration (average is approximately 90 minutes). The number of transcription requests will average approximately 40 per month.
- Contractor must provide a digital file transfer method capable of receiving files of up to 500 MB in size.
- The contractor shall provide a single point of contact to answer questions or provide status reports during the hours of 0730-1630 (EST), Monday - Friday.
- Able to provide information regarding what stage a transcript is in and when it is likely to be delivered.
- The contractor shall store and be able to retrieve all final transcripts for a period of 6 months from completion of transcript.
- Provide a workflow matrix using Microsoft Office Excel so that the investigating officer and office staff know what stage a transcript is in and when it is likely to be delivered. This tracking system will be utilized for each interview transcribed to assist in preventing double billing.
- Transcription of recorded interviews are expected to be delivered in 3 – 5 business days
- Transcription of recorded interviews, classified as High Priority of duration are expected to be delivered within 48 hours.
