[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide community shuttle services to the government authority located in Davie, FL.
A. Contractor shall provide a turnkey operation which will include the daily operation and ongoing maintenance of the transit service which is six wheelchair accessible shuttles for the town blue and green transit routes.
B. Contractor shall provide free public transportation services, within the Town at the locations and according to the schedules set forth.
C. The six shuttles are provided to the contractor by the town through a contract with county. The town operates two buses on the blue route, and two buses on the green route as shown in exhibit “a”, and two (2) buses on the route, as shown in exhibit “b”. The hours of operation may be amended from time to time at the discretion of the town and county to respond to budgetary constraints and the needs of the community. The blue, green routes are subject to the county interlocal agreement.
D. The town and contractor shall maintain a minimum average of 7.1 passengers per revenue hour on the route operated by the town and contractor. In the event that town and contractor do not maintain such minimum average of passengers, town and contractor shall attempt to increase ridership, which may include modification of the route.
E. Vehicles shall be operated by properly licensed operator (“vehicle chauffeurs”) employed by contractor. these employees shall provide full utilization of vehicle to all including disabled passengers while in service.
F. Vehicle drivers hired by contractor shall issue county shuttle route timetables or other transit information to any passenger requesting such material.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 13, 2023.
(3) The contract period will be for three years.
(4) Mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on June 7, 2023.
