Vendor needs to provide landlord liaison service for to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate the delivery of all landlord outreach efforts and implementation of strategies to improve landlord recruitment and retention to the government authority located in Auburn, AL.
- Promote and maintain agency's landlord portal providing property owners and managers with program information and access to housing assistance payment information, year-end tax documents, and request rent changes.
- Create and update informational materials that promote the benefits of leasing to Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) families and the opportunities to help special population groups related to special purpose vouchers such as veterans, homeless families, foster youth, and non-elderly, disabled families.
- Maintain an inventory of available housing options for HCV participants. Actively recruit new landlords to increase the housing options available to HCV participants and update the inventory of available housing as needed.
- Maintain communications with the landlord pool to assess needs and serve as a mediator for housing issues that may arise. Negotiate with landlords to reduce barriers to entry for HCV families by leveraging available tools and incentives.
- Provide support and technical assistance to landlords to help bridge gaps in understanding about leasing to HCV families and special purpose voucher participants.
