[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide filter media replacement service for removal of degraded filter media, inspection of under-drain, procurement and installation of granular activated carbon/sand mixed media for eight (8) filters to the government authority located in Denton, TX.
- Removal of degraded anthracite coal and sand media mixture in the eight (8) filters.
- Disposal of media determined by owner, however very likely to be City of Denton Landfill.
- Inspection of underdrains with repairs as necessary per manufacturer’s specifications.
- Removal and replacement of IMS cap with manufacturer’s recommended upgraded cap.
- Procurement of media composed of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and silica sand in eight (8) filters utilizing specifications provided.
- Installation of the media mixture composed of Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and silica sand in eight (8) filters utilizing specifications provided.
- Wash and preparation of media to functioning state.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 27, 2023.
(3) Contract period will be for three years.
