[*] Scope of Service:

(1) Vendor needs to provide access control upgrade service to the government authority located in Signal Hill, CA.         
- Provide all software and hardware necessary to migrate all doors to a secure system, following security related best practice guidelines for a fault-tolerant access control system.
•    Provide cable testing reports for new cabling.
•    This project does not include installation of any new security cameras, card readers or fobs unless included as an extra work.
•    Paint any drywall repairs to match the current paint colors.
•    Recreate door access groupings and access schedules in new proposed system to the current access control system.
•    Migrate all the cardholder credentials from the existing system into the proposed new system.
•    Synchronize cardholder with the City's Active Directory environment.
•    Recreate access groups and place users into those groups. The contractor will work with Human Resources and Police Department to clean up these access groups during this step.
•    The system shall have a floor map that displays access through the facility and linking doors with the appropriate cameras in the system.
•    Program any necessary monitors and alerts.
•    Recreate badge templates.
•    Configure the proposed new system to work with a new badge printer.
•    Provide training to staff, including badge template creation, cardholder creation, registering proximity cards, PIN credential creation, and reporting.
•    The door access control shall have the ability to integrate into the security camera system.
•    Provide one additional access card printer.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than October 10, 2023.        
(3) A contract period will be for three year.   
(4) A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on September 28, 2023.
